During 19-20 September 2016, Bureau of Emerging Infectious Disease arranged academic conference in the occasion of 42 year-anniversary of Department of Disease control “Drive Change For Sustainable Disease Control” at Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, Laksi, Bangkok. In this conference, exceptional portfolios selected from network institutes that had excellent performance about controlling emerging infectious diseases were displayed.

Not only was PODD honored to join this exhibition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lerdrak Srikijkan, head of PODD Project, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University, was also granted award by Bureau of Emerging Infectious Disease seeing that PODD Network is one-health organization that operated and supported prevention and control of emerging infectious diseases especially local network with better efficiency and it can be model extended to monitoring other diseases.
